Your personal bests stay on your device

Your score history and personal bests are saved in your browser's local storage only. We never receive them, and clearing your browser data removes them permanently.

Anonymous score statistics

When you finish a test, we record a single anonymous data point so we can publish aggregate statistics — for example, how clicks per second are distributed across everyone who takes the test. These score statistics are stored separately from the limited marketing events described below.

Each score record contains the following values:

• which test you took (for example, CPS or reaction time)
• the test mode (for example, the 5-second CPS mode)
• your score
• a device category — desktop, mobile, tablet, or unknown
• a two-letter country code supplied by our network provider
• an optional age range (one of seven broad bands such as 20–29), only if you chose one on the reaction time test — it is stored on your device and sent with your score; leave it at "Prefer not to say" and nothing is sent
• the time the record was created

For score statistics, we do not store your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, cookies, account identifiers, or any other value that could identify you or link two of your visits together. Records cannot be traced back to an individual, so they are not linked to you in any way — which also means we cannot locate or delete an individual record on request.

Aggregate results derived from this data are published on our statistics pages, always with the sample size and collection period stated.

How long we keep it

Anonymous score records are kept indefinitely — there is currently no automatic deletion schedule, because the records carry no identifier and exist only to be aggregated into the public statistics pages. If we introduce a retention limit or a purge process in the future, we will state it here rather than changing the practice silently.

Analytics

When enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage (pages visited, test completions). Google Analytics may set cookies and process your IP address. Where required by law, analytics runs only after you give consent via the consent banner.

First-party marketing measurement

We also measure page views, test completions, retry and share clicks to understand which pages and campaigns help people use the site. A random ID in your browser tab links actions into a visit, expiring after 30 minutes of inactivity. Events include the public page path (without queries), campaign tags, referring hostname, coarse device category and country. They do not include scores, form contents, account IDs, raw IP addresses or full referring URLs. Raw events are automatically deleted after 90 days.

This measurement respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control and excludes automated browsers and visits marked as internal. Turn off first-party marketing measurement in this browser. This preference does not change separate Cloudflare or Google analytics settings. Measurement details.

Advertising

We plan to show advertising via Google AdSense to keep ReflexArcade free. When ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads; in regions covered by GDPR/UK GDPR, personalized ads are shown only with your consent, which you can change at any time via the consent settings.

Your rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data processed by our analytics or advertising partners. Such requests generally concern Google's processing — see Google's privacy policy for details. The score statistics described above are anonymous and contain no identifier, so they fall outside the scope of such requests.
